Betting Week in Review 3/10/2022 Derbies go Punter’s Way

It was a successful weekend for punters with the North London derby and Manchester Derby going well. Liverpool drew with Brighton and Leeds drew against Aston Villa.

Arsenal beat Tottenham 3-1 in the North London derby. Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka scored the goals. Tottenham's Emerson Royal was sent off after the hour mark. Mikel Arteta's team are hungry. He said: "They haven't done anything yet that's important". He added that the team is focused on what they are doing.

Manchester City beat Manchester United 6-3 at the Etihad on Sunday. Erling Haaland scored a hat trick. New signing Anthony Martial scored twice late on to make it 6 -3. Erik ten Hag's team was not convincing. He said his team lacked belief. It was the first time in Premier League history that a player has scored three goals in consecutive home games. Ha aland has now scored 17 goals from 11 starts this season. He is the youngest player to do so. The player is also the only one to score three or more goals twice in a row in the Premier league.

Liverpool drew 3-3 with Brighton. Leeds drew 0-0 with Aston Villa. Newcastle beat Fulham 4-1. Bournemouth and Brentford played out goalless. Chelsea came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 2- 1. West Ham beat Wolves 2 -0. Bruno Lage was relieved of his duties.  Conor Gallagher scored the winner at the death.
