The Big 12 league play doesn't get underway until October. Oklahoma visits a Cornhuskers team that just fired its coach. Texas tries to build on its near upset of Alabama and the surprising Jayhawks look to move to 3-0.

Texas State is favored to beat Baylor. Oklahoma is playing Nebraska. Ohio is going to play Iowa State. Tulane is betting on Kansas State to win. Texas Tech is picking against NC State, Texas-San Antonio is at Texas.

Nebraska has lost eight of its last nine games. The Cornhuskers lost 45-42 at home to Georgia Southern last week. Nebraska has scored 28-plus points in all three of their games this season. Oklahoma has been struggling on the road recently. Kansas has covered five straight games going back to the 2021 season and leads the nation in scoring. Houston is coming off a pair of overtime games to start the season, losing 33-30 in Week 2 at Texas Tech after opening with a 37-35 win over UTSA.

Quinn Ewers and Hudson Card are injured. Texas lost to Alabama by one point in Week 2. The team is 9-1 against the spread in its last 10 non-conference games. UTSA is 113th in the nation in points allowed per game.   Texas should be able to move the ball on the ground against UT SA.
