This week is the fourth week of the college football season. VSiN experts will give their best bets on select games.

Virginia Tech is favored to beat West Virginia. The Hokies have won their last two games. WVU has allowed 93 points in two FBS games against FBC teams. The line is -1.5. If you want peace of mind, sprinkle something on the moneyline.

Georgia State lost to North Carolina and South Carolina. Coastal Carolina lost against Gardner-Webb. The Chanticleers are going to play the Panthers in Atlanta. Georgia State is a short road favorite. Adam Burke has Coastal as a 3.5-point favorite on the road. He has moved the Chants down throughout the season to mirror the market. Adam has also moved Coastal down to reflect the higher market value.

Air Force was beaten by Wyoming on Friday night. Nevada is the team to pick after a disastrous loss to Iowa. Jeff Parles will bet 24 on the Falcons.   The game will look similar to their dismantling of Colorado in Week 2.

Texas is moving in a positive direction after beating Alabama and UTSA. They play Texas Tech in Lubbock. The line has gone from -4.5 to -6. 5, but the power ratings still have a noticeable overlay with a line of -10. Texas ran for 298 yards on 36 carries against UT SA. With Tyler Shough out, Donovan Smith has thrown seven touchdown passes but also has five interceptions and has been sacked 10 times.

Danny Burke believes Notre Dame is in trouble after their 24-17 win over Cal. He thinks the team's offensive staff doesn't trust Drew Pyne. Danny Burke also thinks North Carolina has the momentum and the offensive dominance. He also believes the Tar Heels have the coaching advantage. The game is at North Carolin. It's a must-win for the UNC.

Akron has been outscored 115-6 over the last two weeks by Michigan State and Tennessee. Liberty is 2-1 but their offense is tied for 81st in YPP. The Flames are trying to work through some growing pains with freshman Kaidon Salter at quarterback. They have a game against an in-state foe in Old Dominion.

Marshall plays Troy in their first conference game as part of the Sun Belt. Troy lost to Appalachian State last week. Marshall lost in overtime to Bowling Green. The Herd have a top-20 defense and a better offense. Adam Burke recommends Marshall to take the edge.  Adam Burke is taking a -3 at -120 instead of -2.5.

Northwestern lost to Duke and Southern Illinois. Northwestern won in Dublin in the first game of the season. Scott Frost was fired and Northwestern has struggled since. Miami (Ohio) covered last week against Cincinnati. The MAC has looked mostly overwhelmed in nonconference games to begin the year.

The market came in strong against Oklahoma last week. The Sooners outscored Nebraska 49-7. Kansas State didn't do as well as expected. Chris Klieman is 3-0 ATS against the Sooner. He is 12-8 AET as an underdog overall in his fourth season at Kansas. The Wildcats are + 6 in turnover margin. They are also + 10 in YPG and 10 PPG.

Stanford is coming to Seattle off a bye week after a 41-28 loss to USC. The Cardinal are 0-9 ATS since last year’s upset victory over then-No. 3 Oregon in overtime. Wes Reynolds is high on the Huskies as a dark horse to win the Pac-12. He recommends to back Stanford at the nadir of the market.
