Big battle brewing between ‘Beach’ rivals

Pebble Beach and Beach Glass are going to meet in the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows on Saturday. Pebble Beach won the C$1 million North America Cup in June. Beach glass has four wins and a second in five starts this season.

Beach Glass is the 9-5 morning-line favorite. Pebble Beach is second choice at 5-2. The race starts from post five.  Beachy Glass won the Meadowlands Pace by 1-3/4 lengths over Mad Max Hanover two weeks ago.

Beach Glass is on a three-race win streak. Pebble Beach won his Adios elim in 1:50.1. Fear The Dragon and Huntsville are the favourites for the final. River Ness should be the spoiler. The final is one of two meetings between North America Cup and Meadowlands Pace champs in the past 25 years. The winner will be crowned champion. It will take place on Saturday.
