Big-name Georgia Democrats aren’t the only ones raking in millions from out-of-state donors

$20 million of the $27 million raised by Georgia Republican Party this election cycle came from outside the state. The biggest donor this cycle has been the Republican National Committee, at $15.4 million. Another Washington-based Republican political action committee pumped about $2 million into legislative races. Georgia Democratic Party raised about one-third as much as the GOP. Most of Fair Fight PAC's money comes from out-of-state donations. The group has raised $33 million and has helped Democratic parties in several states. It got $50,000 from Conan O'Brien and his wife Elizabeth, and $10,00 from Tracy Chapman.
