Big-race king Kinane has Arc memories to treasure

Kinane won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe three times. He also partnered two of the finest Arc winners of any generation. Kinane compares Montjeu to Sea The Stars. He won't compare Mont jeu with Frankel. The 1999 renewal of Prix was run on deep ground with 14 runners. Daylami, Croco Rouge, Tiger Hill and Borgia were among them. El Condor Pasa was a Japanese challenger. Mont Jeu won by half a length. It was six lengths back to Croc Rouge and five to the remainder.
