Big Ten Football Week 8: Schedule, Preview and Best Bets for Iowa vs Ohio State and more

The regular season in college football ended in spectacular fashion last week. The Big Ten had it all. Iowa lost to Nebraska, Purdue beat Indiana and Michigan beat Ohio State 45-23. Michigan and Ohio are going to play for the Big League Championship this weekend. The game is scheduled for this afternoon. It is a big game between two teams ranked in the top four.

No. 2 Michigan and Purdue will meet at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday night. Michigan is heavily favored to win its second consecutive Big Ten title. Last season Michigan won the Big League Championship game in this building. The Wolverines are confident after their win over Ohio State last weekend. Purdue has upset No. 1 and No 2 teams in the past. Michigan's last national championship came in 1997. It was considered contested because Nebraska won Coach's Poll. Iowa plays Ohio state in Big 10 Championship Game on Sunday. They are favored by 16.5 points. Best Bets: Michigan -16.

Purdue is expected to play despite missing practice after the unexpected death of his brother. Rutgers, Penn State, Illinois, Ohio State and Maryland all scored at least 17 points versus Michigan this season.
