Bills vs. Bengals sports betting update: sportsbooks’ decisions on voiding wagers
The NFL suspended the Bills vs. Bengals game indefinitely after Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest early in the first quarter. Sportsbooks have responded to the suspension. Bets on suspended games are voided unless played within the same scheduling week.
FanDuel Sportsbook was the first to respond to the NFL's statement. All wagers that had not been settled prior to game's suspension will be voided. BetMGM Sportsbooks responded with a similar statement shortly after.
BetMGM Sportsbook will void all unsettled wagers from the Bills-Bengals game and refund them within the next 24 hours.
Caesars Sportsbook paid out winning tickets on last night's Bills-Bengals game. The game was postponed and all remaining open wagers on the Jan. 2, 2023 game will be voided.
