Boston Celtics: 2019 first-round pick unlikely to have deal guaranteed

Mfiondu Kabengele was out of the starting line-up during the Celtics' 112-103 victory over the Hornets on Friday night. Noah Vonleh started and amassed 14 points, 13 rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes of floor time.

Luka Šamanić was the low minutes-getter during the C’s third exhibition game against the Hornets in Charlotte on October 7. He is likely to be cut from the pro team and offered a deal to play for Alex Barlow and the Maine Celtics in the G-League.

Blake Griffin played well for Boston Celtics but didn't impress. He finished as a +8 with nine rebounds, two assists, and two turnovers in 16 minutes.

Samanic is not likely to make the roster after Blake Griffin's signing.
