Celtics' Mfiondu Kabengele grateful to receive mentorship from Jaylen Brown

Celtics' Mfiondu Kabengele is grateful to receive mentorship from teammate Jaylen Brown. In July, Kabengle signed a two-way contract with the Celtics. Last season, Brown averaged 23.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1. 1 steals per game. On January 2, 2022, in the Boston Celtics’ 116-111 win over the Orlando Magic, he scored a career-high 50 points in 47 minutes of action.

Celtics center Mfiondu Kabengele appreciates Jaylen Brown for mentoring him during training camp. Kabengle spent a season-and-a-half with Los Angeles before being dealt to the Sacramento Kings. He was then waived by the Kings three days later. Last season, in 16 games played off the bench with the Cavs, Kabngle averaged 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest.
