Bournemouth, on the other hand, prop up the table but are only a point from safety with three points separating the bottom six teams ahead of the weekend.

Gary O’Neil’s side have won only one of their last 12 matches in all competitions, and led a 2-0 goal lead slip at the home of the league leaders last week, conceding thrice in the final half hour, including a 97th minute winner.

Bournemouth have lost their last seven matches against Liverpool, and haven’t beaten the Reds since 2016.
