Bowl Projections 2022: CFP Predictions Ahead of Saturday's Key Games

Thanksgiving weekend is a big weekend for college football. The big game features Ohio State and Michigan. USC and Notre Dame are also interesting. Georgia and Georgia Tech are playing for the No. 1 ranking. Below are projections for this year's playoff and picks for top bowl games.

Peach Bowl is on December 31. Fiesta Bowl on the 31st is between No. 2 Ohio State and No 3 TCU. Rose Bowl (January 2): Michigan vs. Oregon, Cotton Bowl, (Jan 2: Penn State vs Coastal Carolina, Sugar Bowl December 30th: LSU vs Kansas State, Orange Bowls (Dec 30: Clemson vs Alabama, New Years' Six):

The game has the potential to rock the College Football Playoff. Ohio State has played a tough schedule and could conceivably get in as a one-loss team. Michigan is stout in the trenches and can give Ohio state problems. The deciding factor in this game could be the health of Michigan running back Blake Corum.

The USC Trojans are 10-1 this season. They are aiming for the College Football Playoff. Quarterback Caleb Williams has been spectacular this year. He has thrown for 3,480 yards with 33 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He's also run for 316 yards and seven touchdowns.

Georgia needs to beat Georgia Tech to maintain the No. 1 spot. Texas Christian needs a win against Iowa State to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Horned Frogs are undefeated and have beaten ranked opponents. They are also set to play in the Big 12 Championship Game on December 3. They narrowly defeated Baylor last week thanks to late-game heroics from star quarterback Max Duggan.
