Breaking: Flying Eagles Beat Argentina 2-0, Qualify For FIFA U-20 World Cup Q'Final

Flying Eagles of Nigeria defied all the odds to beat Argentina 2-0 and qualify for the quarter final of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, reports thegazellenews.com.

When the Flying Eagles were paired with the tournament host and sixth time record winner of this competition, nobody gave them a chance. 

However, the Ladan Bosso-tutored side maintained defensive discipline throughout and kept a highly commendable performance to beat the host 2-0.

Ibrahim Muhammed scored the first goal in 60th minute while Haliru Sakhi scored the back-breaking second goal in the second minute of added time.

Nigeria will now meet the winner between Uruguay and Korea Republic in the quarter final.
