Absence taken on trust but has to be taken seriously.

Won a valuable stakes on debut before finishing down the field in the Group 2 Norfolk at Royal Ascot. Got back on track with success in another pair of stakes once returned to the US. Very speedy sort from the gate. From same barn as Crimson Advocate.

Tiger Belle

Trainer: Adrian McGuinness Jockey: Cristian Demuro Age: 2 Weight: 8st 7lbs Draw: 3

Won twice in her native Ireland before landing the Group 3 Prix d’Arenberg at Longchamp in France. Two of those beaten in the French race won next time out, including the runner-up at the same level.

Speedy type who’s tasted success twice in Group races in Britain. Found the open-age Nunthorpe too hot two starts back, before landing dominating the Group 2 Flying Childers at Doncaster last time. This will be his first time going round a turn.

Irish-trained colt who won first two starts, including Group 3 Marble Hill at the Curragh in May. Never out of the first four on next three starts, including in Group 1 company the last twice. Plenty of stamina on distaff side of pedigree. May have to settle for a minor role once again.

Starlust

Has won three times this season. Won Group 3 Sirenia on Kempton’s synthetic surface before finishing fifth in the Middle Park at Newmarket. Only raced at 6f.

Earned his diploma at the third attempt. Came worse off in a three-way photo in a listed stakes at Keeneland last time, against a pair reopposing here. Work to do.

Filly by No Nay Never. Has developed into a useful sort, landing a maiden win in Ireland before hitting the board upped in class on next three starts. Will need another step forward to win and could find this distance sharp enough.
