Breeders' Cup Notes: War Like Goddess, Domestic Spending, Tyler's Tribe Add Intrigue to Turf Races
Tyler's Tribe is the Cinderella of the Breeders' Cup. Tyler's is an untested gelding owned by Tom Lepic and trainer Tim Martin. He will race in the GI Breeder's Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint on Friday. War Like Goddess, Domestic Spending and Tapit are the other horses taking part in this weekend's turf races. The winner of this year's Filly & Mare Turfi will be decided on Monday. It will cost $4 million. There will also be a $2 million Filler & Mares Turfin. This year the winner will take part on the dirt.
