Brilliant Baaeed strolls to fourth victory to leave Haggas aiming at the top

Baaeed won the Bonhams Thoroughbred Stakes. William Haggas and Shadwell Estates have had a disappointing season with Mohaafeth and Al Aasy. Baaed is a son of Sea The Stars and his brother Hukum ran in last year's St Leger. He has won three races this season, including the Jacques le Marois, Celebration Mile and the Moulin. The Queen's Wink Of An Eye won a handicap.

Maydanny won the Unibet Golden Mile at Glorious Goodwood. Jim Crowley and Shadwell also won. Mark Johnston won a £77,310 prize for his patience in the 1m2f event. Brilliant Baaeed won fourth place.

Calling The Wind won the Unibet Goodwood Handicap under Pat Dobbs. Richard Hughes watched the race on a mobile phone in the grandstands. He had felt significant pressure before the event.
