BTTS Tips: 8/1 Acca for the return of the Premier League I BettingOdds.com

The Premier League returns this weekend and with the Football League already blessing our screens last weekend, we’re going again with the BTTS accumulator and will be looking at each league starting with the EPL from all the football from the Saturday 3pm kick-offs and picking our best bets.

Everton vs Fulham, Birmingham vs Leeds, Peterborough vs Charlton, Mansfield vs Morecambe, AFC Wimble

Starting us off is Fulham vs Everton which is a game that I’m expecting plenty of goals in. Last season Fulham were full of goals and massively overperformed in the league when many were expecting them to be in a relegation scrap. Everton on the other hand was in a relegation scrap and they were leaking goals left, right and centre.

It’s not all good for Fulham though as last season they conceded 53 goals whilst scoring 55 goals meaning they almost conceded as much as they scored which I think makes this a great pick to start off our BTTS accumulator. This bet landed in 61% of their games last season and we’ll be backing it once again here.

Birmingham vs Leeds

Now moving down to the Championship we have Birmingham at home to Leeds in what should be a game with plenty of action. Both teams to score landed in Birmingham and Leeds’ first game and we’re backing it to happen once again.

The last time these two teams met it was a 5-4 thriller in favour of Leeds and a scoreline like that would do the BTTS accumulator wonders! Leeds’ opening game in the Championship against Cardiff was also a thriller with it being a very entertaining 2-2 draw so we should expect plenty of action in this one.

A trip down to League One next and we have Charlton vs Peterborough. Last season, Charlton were the best team in the league to back for both teams scoring in their games with a staggering  61% of their games seeing both teams find the back of the net. When it comes to away fixtures for Charlton, you’re looking at 52% of their games seeing BTTS land.

Mansfield vs Morecambe

Finishing us off is a trip to League Two for two games, first we have Mansfield vs Morecambe. Mansfield were a great team to back for both teams to score last season with 61% of their league games seeing both teams on the scoresheet.

Morecambe also had a very solid BTTS rate with 54% of their games having the bet land. With both teams being more than capable of scoring goals and being shaky at the back, this is a great way to end our BTTS picks for the weekend.

Although the home team may have started with a goalless draw, it was a different affair in pre-season with the side scoring in all but one fixture. They are also hot off the heels of beating Championship side Coventry City midweek, we can see The Dons looking to get some goals against another high-profile opponent, and at the moment there is none bigger than Wrexham for media exposure!

It may not have been the fairytale start to their League Two campaign for Wrexham with the defeat against MK Dons, but Phil Parkinson's side showed they can still score goals despite being short of talisman Paul Mullin who is sidelined with an injury.

This brings our total price for the five-fold to 13/1 with BetUK, good luck to everyone that follows!
