Bucks at Nets Prediction

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets duke it out at the Barclays Center on Tuesday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been on fire for a while now as they’ve won 16 of their last 17 games overall and they will be aiming for a 15th straight win after sneaking past the Suns in a 104-101 win on Sunday. Jrue Holiday led the team with 33 points on 13 of 22 shooting, Brook Lopez added 22 points with 13 rebounds and four blocks while Khris Middleton chipped in with 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot 43 percent from the field and 13 of 45 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble when they surrendered an 11-point lead to fall behind by eight points in the fourth quarter before they closed the final 5:30 on a 18-7 run to escape with the narrow win in the end.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in a real slump as they’ve lost six of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling painfully short to the Hawks in a 129-127 road loss on Sunday. Cameron Johnson led the team with 27 points on 10 of 15 shooting, Mikal Bridges added 24 points, Cam Thomas scored 22 points off the bench while Spencer Dinwiddie chipped in with 20 points and eight assists. As a team, the Nets shot 49 percent from the field and 14 of 39 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to rally all the way back from an 18-point deficit, only to see the Hawks slip away in the final second thanks to Trae Young who drained the game-winner with the clock expiring.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 6-0 ATS in their last six road games, 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following a win and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Nets are 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games, 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a loss and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 12-3-1 in the last 16 meetings overall, the Bucks are 36-17-1 ATS in the last 54 meetings overall and the Bucks are 19-7-1 ATS in the last 27 meetings in Brooklyn.

The Bucks are still missing Wesley Matthews, but the news is that they should have Giannis Antetokounmpo ready to go, while the Nets are still missing Ben Simmons who is out with a knee injury. The Bucks have been the hottest team in the league, they just took down the Suns for their 15th straight win and they should be too much for this new-look Nets who are mired in their worst slump of the season.
