Bucks vs. Cavaliers NBA Player Props, Odds: Picks & Predictions for Wednesday

The Cleveland Cavaliers look to keep rolling at home in Wednesday's clash with the Milwaukee Bucks, and we have you covered with our Bucks vs. Cavaliers NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won five straight and seven of their last 10 games heading into midweek clash with the Milwaukee Bucks, who lead the Central Division by four games as of Wednesday. That lead could dwindle if the Cavs take care of business at home.

Milwaukee is riding a three-game win streak of its own and currently holds the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-12 record. The Bucks secured victories against the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, and Sacramento Kings in their recent games.

In the head-to-head series over the past three seasons, Milwaukee has a 7-5 advantage. However, when playing at home, Cleveland has a 4-3 record in these matchups. As the teams prepare to face off, our attention turns to three key players and their recent scoring performances, with a focus on alternative point totals for potentially-lucrative odds.

To accompany our Mavericks vs. Lakers NBA player props and our NBA Best Bets, here are our best Bucks vs. Cavaliers NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via ourbest NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Bucks vs. Cavaliers NBA player props

Donovan Mitchell Over 34.5 points (+105 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mitchell has been hot over his last two games, racking up 79 points and eight triples while scoring at least 34 points in both. His points prop is set at 33.5, but we’re not always satisfied with that line, which has been juiced as high as -135. We’ll take this one up just one point for plus-money odds at FanDuel.

On the season, Mitchell averages 29.2 points per game at home compared to 26.7 on the road, and he scored 34 against Milwaukee at home when the two teams met on Dec. 29. He’s scored at least 35 points in six games this season, including five at home.

In two home games against the Bucks since joining the Cavs, he’s averaged 35 points, and Mitchell averages 31.5 points per game against the Central Division. Milwaukee surrenders the seventh most points per game to opponents, and we’re taking the Over.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 34.5 points (+120 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We took Mitchell’s scoring prop up to 34.5, so why not do the same for Giannis? He’s averaging a career-high 31.2 points on the season, including 32.7 at home and 30.1 on the road. He’s racked up 13 games with at least 34 points and 12 with at least 35 this season, and he’s posted 34.1 points per game against the Central Division.

Dating back to 2020-21, Antetokounmpo has played five games in Cleveland and averaged 32.4 points per game in those contests. He scored 34 points in his first matchup with the Cavs this season, but he’s reached the 35-point threshold only once in his last five against this team on the road.

Cleveland’s defense has been stingy for a second consecutive season, but one of the Cavs’ weak spots is transition defense. The Cavs are below average in fastbreak points allowed per game, and Giannis’ 7.2 transition points per game rank third in the Association. We can get his prop at 33.5 for odds juiced similarly to Mitchell’s, but it’s far more profitable to sell the point and get it for plus money at 34.5

Jarrett Allen Over 19.5 points (+175 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

Allen is not a prolific scorer, but we’re climbing the ladder on his points prop tonight in a favorable matchup. As mentioned above, Milwaukee ranks seventh in points per game allowed, but the Bucks have been especially vulnerable down low. Milwaukee allows the sixth most points in the paint per game and the third most at home. The team gave up 64 points in the paint in their last game, a 143-142 overtime win over the Sacramento Kings.

Allen scored a career-high 30 points on December 29 against the Bucks, but we’re not chasing that high. With Evan Mobley sidelined for the last 17 games, Allen has averaged 15.7 points, with four games of at least 20 points. That includes three 20-point games across his last eight.

On the season, he averages 15.1 points at home and 13.9 on the road. Over his last three against Milwaukee dating back to last season, he’s averaged 20.3 points. Four of Allen’s six 20-point games this season have come at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, and we’re banking on him reaching that milestone again tonight for juicy, plus-money odds.
