Bucks vs Raptors Prediction

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Toronto Raptors collide at the Scotiabank Arena on Sunday.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in great form as they’ve won five of their past seven games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back here after having their three-game win streak halted by the Grizzlies in a 137-114 loss on Friday. Lindell Wigginton led the team with 25 points and 11 assists, Jae Crowder added 24 points on 10 of 12 shooting while Goran Dragic chipped in with 14 points and four assists off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot 45 percent from the field and a sizzling 21 of 49 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 41 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime, only to let their hard work go to waste in the third quarter where the Grizzlies dominated by 37-15 to take the game away from them.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have won five of their last eight games overall but they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting thrashed by the Celtics in a 121-102 road loss on Friday. Pascal Siakam led the way with 19 points, Precious Achiuwa added 16 points off the bench while Fred VanVleet chipped in with 12 points and eight assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 43 percent from the field and nine of 31 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and were never in the contest after getting outscored by 68-40 in the first half. Just four Raptors players finished in double figures in scoring and VanVleet shot just three of 11 from the field while Scottie Barnes shot three of 10 from the field.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 road games, 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games against a team with a losing record and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss. The Raptors are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 home games and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a winning record.

Head to head, the under is 11-3 in the last 14 meetings overall and the Bucks are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.

The Bucks will again be missing Brook Lopez, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, while the Raptors will be without Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam. It’s always tough to predict games with both teams missing so many key players, but the Bucks have the deeper roster and I think they can pull off the minor upset in this spot.
