Buffs try to stop the bleeding against Gophers: Week 3 CFB preview

Colorado Buffaloes are 0-2 in the Pac-12 and are 27.5-point underdogs against Minnesota. The Gophers won the last meeting 30-0 on the road last year. Minnesota has won two games this season, but they haven't been to a Power 5 team in 30 years. Colorado's defense is struggling to stop the Gopher's top-tier rushing attack. The Buffs have given up an average of 355 rushing yards per game this year, while Minnesota's has allowed an averaged of just 355. They are ranked in Top 25, and the team will start their Big Ten schedule soon.

Colorado goes north for a non-conference meeting with Minnesota on Saturday, Sept. 17. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. MT. It's the first time playing two nonleague games back-to-back on the road since 1994.
