College Football Odds: Purdue-Minnesota prediction, odds and pick

Purdue Boilermakers (2-2) travel north to take on the #21 Minnesota Golden Gophers (4-0) on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 pm ET. Purdue is coming off a 28-26 home victory over Florida Atlantic University.

Purdue is 2-2 after two losses to Syracuse and Penn State. Quarterback Aidan O'Connell is injured and backup Austin Burton should start. Burton was solid in his start last week. Charlie Jones is Purdue's leading receiver in 2022. He leads the Big Ten conference in receptions, yards and receiving touchdowns. Minnesota is second in the country in points allowed.  Porter is a favorite to cover the spread. The game is at Purdue.

Minnesota has been dominant this season. Last week they beat Michigan State. Tanner Morgan has played well for Minnesota this year. Mohamed Ibrahim is the star of the Gophers' offense. He is second in the Big 10 in every rushing category. Purdue will have a hard time containing him.  Purdue and Minnesota are both undefeated. The game is on Saturday at 7 pm. It's a college football game. Purdue is a favorite.

The Gophers opened as 9.5 point favorites but the line has climbed all the way to 12. 5. There is speculation that Purdue's starting Quarterback Aidan O'Connell will miss yet another game thanks to a rib injury. If he is out, the Gopher's are an easy pick.
