Jane Lyon”s Summer Wind Equine, breeder and co-owner of Flightline, was third-leading buyer. Jim and Dana Bernhard purchased 15 horses for over $4 million in the name of Pin Oak Stud.

The November Horses of Racing Age Sale starts at noon on Thursday. The 10th Annual Sporting Art Auction will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday.
