Burn City Best Bets: Coyotes Season Opener in New Jersey

The Arizona Coyotes are back on the ice to kick off their regular season in New Jersey, so lets bet on it. The Coyotes are coming off of a rather disappointing season, but the fans in Phoenix couldn’t be more excited for their return.

I talked to our Coyotes insider Alec Cipollini (@AlecCipollini via X) and he is beyond pumped on the Coyotes third overall pick. Cooley had a stellar preseason and that’s Alec’s pick for tonight’s game. DraftKings sportsbook currently has the odds set at +350 for Cooley to knock one in tonight. The value on that bet is great, and we love it.

Clayton Keller Over 2.5 Shots on Goal

Last season Keller had a phenomenal year, scoring 37 goals and being selected to the all star game. Keller is the clear leader of this Coyotes team and we expect him to carry last years momentum into this season. The odds for Keller to go over the 2.5 shots on goal mark is set at -125. Value on this bet isn’t high, but sometimes you have to throw in an easy winner.

Coyotes to Cover +1.5 Spread

Last year the Coyotes had a 45-37 record against the spread, and I’m riding them to cover tonight. New Jersey went just .500 against the spread last season. The value on this bet is decent at -115. Parlaying this bet with one of your personal favorites could for sure win you some coin.

Devils Money Line

Although we’re riding on the Yotes’ to turn things around this year and return to the playoffs, it could be a slow start. New Jersey is great on paper and a favorite to win the Stanley Cup. Just because it is opening night, I’ll give the Coyotes some time to get hot.
