Bournemouth make the trip to Lancashire on Sunday afternoon as the odds on favourites for victory despite not having tasted victory in the Premier League since their Boxing Day win over Fulham.

Andoni Iraola's side have gone six league matches without victory ahead of this weekend's match, but despite their lack of wins, the Cherries are unbeaten in three of their last five league outings.

The Dorset side's lack of wins has seen them drop slightly in the league table, where they currently sit 14th, marooned nine points shy of the top 10 but eight points clear of the relegation zone.

Bournemouth are one of only three teams in the Premier League this season, alongside Everton and Burnley, to have picked up more points away from home than they have in their home stadiums, so will make the trip to the north-west of England in confident mood.

Burnley prepare for the visit of Bournemouth having lost seven of their last nine matches, only managing draws in the other two, as their bid to survive relegation from the top flight becomes more and more of an uphill battle.

This week's news that Everton's 10-point deduction had been reduced to six points came as grave news for Vincent Kompany's side, who now sit 11 points from safety with just 12 matches of the Premier League seasons remaining.

One of the main causes for the Clarets' torrid return to the Premier League has been their miserable home form, having picked up only five points from their 13 league matches at Turf Moor so far, winning on just one occasion, coming right back at the start of December.

Bournemouth won the previous meeting between these two sides back in October, ending a run of four consecutive defeats against the Lancashire side in the Premier League.
