Cain Velasquez discusses his experience in prison

Cain Velasquez was invited by Konnan and Disco Inferno for their Christmas broadcast. He was released from jail last month after paying a $1 million bail. Vel asquez had been detained on a number of charges, one of which involved the killing of Harry Goularte. The former UFC heavyweight champion was allowed to compete in professional wrestling earlier this month for AAA in Arizona. Minnesota Vikings play the Green Bay Packers this weekend.

"I appreciate everyone's support in all of it. It gave me a lot of strength when I was in there. I feel it and I just want to thank everybody forever for that."

"It's a thing, we always have to have faith," says the former player. "It doesn't matter what position we're in, where we are, it's all gonna work out for the best."

They had Velasquez in protective custody. He had a lot of alone time with himself.

Cain Velasquez wrestled Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel 2019. It was his first televised match. The match ended in dominant fashion when Brock defeated the former UFC Heavyweight Champion to his Kimura Lock.
