Campanelle strikes for American trainer Wesley Ward in Queen Mary Stakes

Campanelle won the Queen Mary Stakes for American trainer Wesley Ward. Frankie Dettori rode her to victory. Chiefofchiefs won Silver Wokingham Handicap at Royal Ascot. It was the first time Chiefoffers won since January 2019. It had been campaigned over seven furlongs and a mile. The Silver wokinghstakes was a consolation race for the Wokeham. They decided to try six furs. A lot of the time they make the lead, but they don't have to make it all the way. Aidan O'Brien's favourite, Sacred, couldn't make a telling blow.

Nando Parrado won the Coventry Stakes at a 150-1 outsider's price. The Clive Cox-trained youngster was fifth on his debut at Newmarket earlier this month.
