Can Chindit make it a terrific ten straight winning favourites in Summer Mile?

Chindit is the favourite for the Summer Mile. He has won the race in each of the past nine years. Chind it has chased home Baaeed on his last two starts. Mutasaabeq is a potential winner. Perotto is overpriced and is running second in the same race as Modern News and My Oberon. Marcus Tregoning is trying to fit cheekpieces for first time. He is 0-6 when fitting the aid in past year. It is only his second start of this year, Modern news ran for sixth time and My oberon for fourth time during that period.

Chindit is the market leader in the Group 2 Summer Mile. Richard Hannon-trained four-year-old is a course winner. Chindi finished third in Lockinge at Newbury and fourth in Queen Anne Stakes at Ascot. My Oberon is rated 1lb lower than Chidit.

Charlie Appleby, trainer of Modern News, is confident his horse can be a player again at Ascot. Charlie Hills, the trainer for Mutasaabeq, thinks the track should suit him better than Epsom. Marcus Tregoning, Perotto's trainer, hopes his colt will do well at the Asfot. Chindit is one of the favourites in Summer Mile.
