Can the Welsh dragon roar in the URC this season?

Wales' professional rugby teams have struggled to make an impact in the inaugural United Rugby Championship. The Ospreys have the strongest squad in Wales and should be challenging the likes of Leinster, Munster and Stormers. Toby Booth's team won the Welsh Shield last season. The Welsh Rugby Union has been reluctant to fund its professional sides in a similar way as the Irish Rugby Football Union. It would be a surprise if the O Spires didn't make the play-offs this season at least. They have a strong squad with international players. Their only weakness is lack of depth. Wales have been successful in rugby for the last 15 years.
