C Braley, H Fava, I Herbst, T Baravalle, L Morisi, J Caputo, F Smith, A Coetzee, Y Fantini, Petrozzi, London Scottish, T Bell, M Ioane, Sperandio, and I Barvalle are out of the United Rugby Championship.

Marco Bortolami is the new head coach of United Rugby Championship. The team performed well last season but recruitment has been limited. They have two outstanding young players in Michele Lamaro and Tommaso Menoncello.

P Maqondwana, R Vermaak, S Nkosi, W Simelane, M Mosi, C Smit and M van Staden have been signed by the Pumas, Sharks, Lions and Leicester Tigers.

Mike Prendergast and Denis Leamy are leaving the province to coach Graham Rowntree. Malakai Fekitoa and Antoine Frisch should provide some midfield thrust. Rontree will have to choose between experience and youth.

Fabio Roselli has just completed his first preseason as head coach of United Rugby Championship. Last season the team managed just one victory.
