Canada Sevens 2022: Who is representing Canada at HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series

The Canada rugby sevens national team is back in action this weekend at the Canada Sevens tournament in Vancouver. The team has finished in the top 10 in just one tournament so far in this series. Canada is currently tied for 13th place in standings with Wales.

Cooper Coats is the team's leading scorer with 80 points. He is also the leader in conversions with 25 and tackle leader with 34.

The 2022 Canada Sevens begins on Saturday, April 16 and ends on Sunday, April 17. The tournament was originally scheduled for February 26-27, but was pushed back to April due to COVID-19.

The HSBC Canada Sevens are being broadcast on CBC Sports and fuboTV.

The 2022 Canada Sevens will be hosted at the BC Place in Vancouver, B.C. The multi-purpose facility is home to the CFL's BC Lions and MLS's Vancouver Whitecaps FC. It was used as the main stadium for the 2022 Winter Olympics in the city.

2021-22 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series standings. South Africa is first with 98 points. Australia and Argentina are tied for second with 83 points each.

Fiji is the favorite for the 2022 Canada Sevens. South Africa is second, New Zealand third and Canada is 11th.
