It looks like Hardy Haman Aktell will lineup on the third defensive pairing with Trevor van Riemsdyk. Matthew Phillips moves up to the top line and he highly deserves it.
The Caps need to step up and play better. That includes playing for all 60 minutes. Not 10 minutes like the first game or 40 minutes the second game or zero minutes the third game. A full 60. Alex Ovechkin will be looking for a good game himself as it’s the first time in his career he’s on a two game shot less streak.
