Catherine Zeta-Jones makes Michael Douglas flash her at golf
Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones keep their golf matches fun and flirty with risqué bets.
The “Wall Street” actor admitted in a new interview that his wife of 22 years makes him “whip it out” if he doesn’t “hit it past the ladies’ tee.”
But Douglas, 78, clarified to the Guardian that he can manage that feat “most of the time,” noting, “There have been times when we’re playing alone, and [I] have to give her a little show because we are competitive.
“But only when I play with my wife,” he added in the Q&A published Thursday.
The two-time Oscar winner’s confession comes seven years after Zeta-Jones, 53, first addressed their NSFW wagers on “The Graham Norton Show.”
The actress called herself a “better” player than her partner in January 2016 before revealing, “We have a bet that if he ducks a shot, he has to drop his pants.”
Zeta-Jones, who admittedly makes the same bets with “any man” she competes against, joked, “There has been an issue with paparazzi, so I make him go into the bushes. A deal is a deal.”
Douglas and Zeta-Jones have been married since November 2000 and often gush about each other on social media.
While honoring their anniversary in November 2022, the “Fatal Attraction” actor called his “Traffic” co-star his “darling” via Instagram.
In her own post at the time, Zeta-Jones referred to her husband as her “sweetheart.”
The duo are the parents of son Dylan, 22, and daughter Carys, 19. Douglas also has a son, Cameron, 44, from his previous marriage to Diandra Luker.
Although Douglas became a grandfather in 2017 when Cameron started his family, the Golden Globe winner was assumed to be Carys’ grandparent at her May 2021 high school graduation.
“It’s a little rough,” the “Kominsky Method” alum told Kelly Clarkson the following month.
“You’re going out the doors, and the other parents are saying, ‘Oh, congratulations! You must be so proud of your granddaughter,'” he recalled. “I said, ‘Well, I don’t know, man. Yeah, OK.'”
Douglas brushed off the misunderstanding, saying, “I’m not gonna take it personal. I think they’re just trying to be nice.”
