Betting Odds: New York Knicks -6.5 -- Over/Under: 210.5

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks collide at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to find their groove this season and they will be hoping for a better performance after getting routed by the Knicks in a 109-91 home loss last night. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 26 points on 11 of 20 shooting, Isaac Okoro and Georges Niang added 11 points while Craig Porter chipped in with 10 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 39 percent from the field and 10 of 38 from the 3-point line, but they defended well to stay within striking distance, until the third quarter where they scored a miserly 16 points to allow the Knicks to pull away and make it a blowout. Max Strus had a quiet game of just six points on two fo nine shooting, while Dean Wade finished scoreless on zero of five shooting.

New York Knicks

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have split their first four games of the season and they will be looking to stay hot after last night's big win over the Cavaliers. Julius Randle led the team with 19 points and 10 rebounds, Jalen Brunson added 19 points of his own while RJ Barrett chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Knicks shot 44 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line which aren't impressive numbers, but they played great defense to force the Cavaliers into turnovers and limit them to just 26 percent shooting from the 3-point line.

Peter's Pick

The Cavaliers will likely be without Caris LeVert, Ty Jerome, Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen once again, while the Knicks are at full strength, so it's almost not a fair fight. We saw that the Knicks were too good last night despite a decent game from the Cavaliers' Mitchell and I don't see that changing overnight, especially now that they're in New York. It's always tough to beat the same team twice in a row, but I think the Knicks are good enough to take advantage of the shorthanded Cavaliers again.
