Cees Bol edges Jake Stewart in photo finish on Tour of Britain stage two
Jake Stewart and Cees Bol finished the Tour of Britain's stage two in Duns, Scotland. Bol won by millimetres. Corbin Strong finished third. The overall leader, New Zealander Corban Strong, is still in the lead.
Harry, Charlie Tanfield, Lewis Adam, Matthew Teggart, Ukko Peltonen, Travis Stedman, Jacob Scott and Davide Gaburro were in a breakaway. The bunch caught them with less than 60km to go. Jacob took the points on the climb of Mainslaughter Law. Richie Porte and Jacob were caught by Ineos Grenadier's Magnus Sheffield and Tom Pidcock. Great Britain's Watson and Stewart were able to come back in the race. They won the mountains points. It was the first time in 10 years that a British rider won a mountain jersey.
Cees Bol won Tour of Britain stage two. Jake Stewart finished second. Corbin Strong, Stanisław Aniołkowski, Luke Lamperti, Kenneth Van Rooy, Tom Pidcock, Eduardo Prades, Jim Brown and Martin Marcellusi were the other riders.
Corbin Strong won Israel-PremierTech in 8-44-58. Jake Stewart, Jake Stewart, Omar Fraile, Anders Halland Johannessen, Tom Pidcock, Gonzalo Serrano, Kenneth Van Rooy, Felix Grosschartner, Eduardo Prades and Filippo Fiorelli were also in the top 10.
