Thomas won its first winning season since 1999. The Cardinals scored 35 unanswered points to stun host Marysville. Will Cooper threw four touchdown passes and finished 25-for-38 for 346 yards. Joey Zalewski caught eight passes for 192 yards and recovered a fumble on defense. Mary'sville coach Brent Johnson's team fell to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in league play. He's happy for Mike Picetti, who got his first win. It was a momentum game. Thomas didn't have many mistakes. They executed well. Mary’s has good speed.

Dublin Coffman jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and went on to beat Hilliard Davidson 28-14. The Shamrocks improved to 6-2 overall and took over sole possession of first place in OCC-Central at 3-1. Davidson fell to 4-4 overall, 2- 1 in league. Quinn Hart completed 11 of 18 passes for 189 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Keevan Gibbon rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown for Davidson.

DC, Dublin Coffman and HD have won their games in Week 8.

Pickerington North defeated Grove City 28-21. Dawgs had a 21-8 halftime lead. Senior Dawaun Green rushed for four touchdowns and 187 yards on 29 carries. North improved to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in the OCC-Ohio. Grove city dropped to 5-3 overall, 1- 2 in O CC-OCC. The Panthers' victory should improve their position in computer ratings in Division I, Region 3.

Westerville South is unbeaten in the OCC-Capital. The Wildcats beat Canal Winchester 35-20. Quan Rhodes-McKee returned two defensive touchdowns for the Wildcats. Maxton Brunner scored a touchdown for Canal, Dominic Birtha a 69-yard pass to Tyler Kielmeyer and Kaseem Wade a career-high 160 yards and a score for Indians. Canal is out of the title contention with two games remaining. . .. They are 5-3 overall and 3-2 in O CC- Capital. Their last game is against Westerville North.

Westerville South won 14-0-14-7-35.

Dublin Jerome beats Olentangy Berlin 17-7 in OCC-Cardinal play. Jerome is 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the league. Berlin is 5-3 and tied with Berlin, Marysville and Thomas for first place. Celtics quarterback Zakk Tschirhart was 22-for-26 passing for 214 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Marek Tzagournis had 10 receptions for 107 yards and tight end Aiden Lowery had six catches for 54 yards. Luke McLoughlin returned after missing three weeks with an ankle injury to rush for 102 yards on 22 carries.
