CFB Bowl Picks: Take Old Dominion, Kent State as underdogs against spread

Old Dominion and Kent State are underdogs in the bowl games. They are playing in Idaho Potato Bowl on Tuesday. Underdogs were 6-2 against the spread in first eight postseason games and a handful of them won outright.

Old Dominion is 9-3 against the spread this season. Tulsa is 6-6 this year. Old Dominion reeled off five straight wins to become bowl eligible.

Kent State and Wyoming are playing in the Idaho Potato Bowl. Kent State is favored by 3.5 points. Wyoming is a team that has only two wins in its last eight games.   The Golden Flashes scored at least 23 points in 11 of their 14 games this season.

UTSA running back Sincere McCormick opted out of the game to focus on the NFL draft. San Diego State's rushing defense allows 77.6 yards per game. The Aztecs were embarrassed in the Mountain West Championship Game by Utah State. They would like to finish on a strong note behind their tremendous defense.

Missouri and Army are playing in the Armed Forces Bowl. Tyler Badie is ruled out for Mizzou. The Black Knights have a significant advantage in their triple-option offense. Mizou's quarterback Connor Bazelak has failed to throw for 200 yards in each of his last three games.
