Cheez-It Bowl 2022: FSU vs. Oklahoma and what to know about the game
Before 2022's giants of the game, Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State compete in the 2022-23 College Football Playoff, many other bowls have been rolling out for teams to get in one more game before they conclude their seasons.
The Cheez-It Bowl is played at Camping World Stadium, Orlando, Florida.
The Cheez-It Bowl pitting Florida State Seminoles against the Oklahoma Sooners is on Thursday, December 29 at 5:30 p.m.
The Cheez-It Bowl used to be called the Tangerine Bowl and the Champs Sports Bowl. It was played in Miami in 1990 as the Blockbuster Bowl, but it moved to Orlando in 2000. The other Chez-it bowl was in Arizona, where in 2018 the brand took over the name of The Cactus Bowl game. Cheuzit Bowl will be the title sponsor of the Orlando game in 2020.
The Cheez-It Bowl gets a more than $6 million payout from the College Football Playoff.
Florida State and Oklahoma are playing in Cheez-It Bowl 2022. The Sooners are a 9.5-point betting underdog. They lost 51-48 to Texas Tech last time out on Nov. 26.
Cheez-It Bowl tickets are available on Ticketmaster. They range from $90 to $2,500 each. The game is on Thursday, Dec. 29 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
