Cheltenham: Dodging Bullets wins Queen Mother Champion Chase

Dodging Bullets won the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham. Frankie Dettori's horse was bred to win the Derby. Aux Ptit Soins won Coral Cup. Paul Nicholls completed a treble with Qualando, ridden by Nick Scholfield.   The Champion chase was billed as a battle of the champions. Sire De Grugy finished fourth and 2013 winner Sprinter Sacre pulled up.

Willie Mullins won his fifth race of the day with Don Poli in the RSA Chase. Jockey Bryan Cooper triumphed on the 13-8 favourite. Davy Russell won the opening Neptune Hurdle on Windsor Park.

Patrick McCann broke his leg when a horse went through the rail and caught him during the Cross Country Chase. Nina Carberry was forced to the left by another horse in an incident which went viral on social media. Russell won a Wednesday double as he emerged the winner on Rivage D'or.

Dodging Bullets won the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham. Trainer Paul Nicholls has won a treble himself. Winning rider Sam Twiston-Davies was appointed first jockey less than 11 months ago.

Tom Scudamore won the Champion Bumper. He was jockeyed by Moon Racer trained by David Pipe. Michael Dickinson congratulated him. He had emailed Tom after he took the wrong course at Cartmel earlier in the season and was banned.

Saphir Du Rheu and Zarkandar will run in the World Hurdle on Thursday at 15:20 GMT. Gordon Elliott-trained Don Cossack is favourite for the Ryanair Chase at 14:40.
