Chicago Cubs Rumors: Gary Sanchez an option for catcher?

Gary Sanchez is a free agent catcher. He slashed a combined .202/.295/.427 this season. His defensive statistics are not very good. The Chicago Cubs are looking for a catcher this winter. They are also looking to improve their pitching. If they don't go the trade route, they will sign Tucker Barnhart or Roberto Perez. If the Cubs don’t go that route they might look to Toronto for Danny Jansen or Alejandro Kirk. It's a good start to the winter, but the offseason is far from over. Chicago is high on pitch-to-contact pitchers and outstanding defense.
