This Friday, the Cincinnati Red will head to Salt River Fields at Talking Stick to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Cincinnati Reds will enter this game against the Arizona Diamondbacks following an embarrassing loss against the Seattle Mariners last night. Despite the Reds loss against the Mariners, they have still won two of their last three games played.

The Cincinnati Reds finished the 2022-2023 season as one of the MLB’s worst but are having a decent spring training so far. The Reds currently hold an overall record of 13-12. Even though the Reds are one loss away from .500, that is still a significant improvement from last season. It will be interesting to see if the loss against the Mariners will affect the outcome of this game against thr Diamondbacks this Friday. 

The Arizona Diamondbacks will enter this game against the Cincinnati Reds following a massive win against the Los Angeles Dodgers yesterday which resulted in a final score of 11-5. In the game against the Dodgers, Kyle Lewis had himself a great game as he went 1 for 3, scored two runs, had two RBI’s, and hit a home run to center field in the bottom of the 1st inning.

The Diamondbacks are having an okay spring training so far as they hold an overall record of 13-13 and have won six of their last eight games played. The Diamondbacks didn’t exactly have a strong season last year but with the addition of Kyle Lewis this offseason, things are starting to look good in the desert. Expect the Diamondbacks to have a strong game here against the Reds.

This game will be nothing short of a mismatch as the Diamondbacks have all the momentum heading into this game. Although it is only spring training and both the Reds and Diamondbacks have long seasons ahead of them, there is never a bad time to win baseball games. Take the Diamondbacks in this one.
