Cincinnati vs Louisville Wasabi Fenway Bowl Prediction, Game Preview

Cincinnati and Louisville will play in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl on December 17, 2022.

Cincinnati and Louisville are playing in the inaugural Fenway Bowl. Scott Satterfield is switching sides and taking over the Cincinnati program. Louisville is 11-12-1 all-time and 1-3 in its last four bowl games. The game will be played in Fenways Park. Louisville won the last meeting between the two teams in 2013. Purdue's Jeff Brohm will take over for Louisville.

Malik Cunningham is opting out of the Wasabi Fenway Bowl. Louisville's quarterback was injured and Brock Domann took over most of his duties. The Cardinal O is also missing RB Tiyon Evans and leading receiver Tyler Hudson. Cincinnati's defense led the AAC in total and scoring D, brings a strong pass rush and should be good enough against the Cardinal passing game.

Louisville will win the Wasabi Fenway Bowl. Cincinnati's offense has stalled late in the season. Louisville's running game went 6-1, including the victory over NC State and the win over James Madison. Cincinnati was 1-3 against offenses that had over 200 rushing yards.
