2020 Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl Preview

The 2020 Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl will feature a team from Conference USA and the American Athletic Conference. Southern Miss Golden Eagles will take on the Tulane Green Wave.

Southern Miss will try to get an eighth win to finish the season with a winning record. They went 2-2 through their first four games, but went 5-1 after that. Quarterback Jack Abraham finished the regular season having over 3,300 passing yards. Quez Watkins finished with 1,024 receiving yards and Kevin Perkins and De’Michael Harris had over 500 rushing yards each. The team has four players with at least 300 receivingyards.

Tulane finished the regular season at 6-6. They had a great start, going 5-1 with the only loss coming from Auburn. The Green Wave went 1-5 in the second half of the season. Two of their last three games were by eight points or less. Quarterback Justin McMillian had less than 300 passing attempts this season for 2,229 passing yards. He threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns. Six players on the team have at least 200 rushing yards this year.

Southern Miss is going to play in the 2020 Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. Tulane has a lot of different styles of offense and can throw off the Southern Miss defense.
