College Football bettor loses nearly $100kKon an all-time bad cash-out

Your weekend couldn’t possibly have been worse than this college football bettor who cashed out a nearly $100,000 winning lottery ticket before it even had a chance.

A bettor over the weekend placed a long 15-leg parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook for just $10 with what the bettor likely thought was a pipe dream chance of bringing in $96,015,10 at ridiculous 9,651:1 odds.

The 15-leg parlay consisted of these bets…

  • Penn State-Northwestern over 47.5 (-110)
  • UAB +21.5 (-115)
  • Texas A&M -6.5 (-110)
  • UL Lafayette-Minnesota Over 49.5 (-104)
  • Buffalo Bulls +2.5 (+104)
  • Utah State -200
  • Clemson -7
  • Florida-Kentucky over 43.5 (-118)
  • James Madison (-140)
  • Eastern Michigan-Central Michigan over 44.5 (-115)
  • Boston College (-194)
  • Miami (OH) -14.5 (-110)
  • Texas -16.5 (-105)
  • Maryland -14.5 (-108)
  • Purdue (-110)

The bettor did net a profit on the cash-out, at least.

He won $.41 as he cashed out the wager.

“I’d have to retire from gambling,” one user @tmagled said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“He shouldn’t be allowed to touch another slip… ain’t no way you fumble this bad,” another user @prodbymoolah, added.

Betting on the NFL?

Whether this bettor had an edge that they wanted to exploit on the parlay is a mystery, but even winning a 15-leg parlay is a feat on its own.

It did have several sweats involved had the bet not been cashed out, including the Buffalo Bulls +2.5, who won in overtime by a field goal.

There was also Texas A&M winning by 12, Boston College winning on a late field goal, and of course, Utah State’s absurd 17-point comeback victory.

The Aggies would also need a blocked extra point attempt to pull off the victory as -200 favorites.

Good luck to this bettor in the future, as it attempts to replicate the success that they had, but split beyond their grasp.
