College football by the odds: Vegas preview and picks of every Week 5 game

Middle Tennessee upset Miami 45-31 as 26-point underdogs. Clemson and North Carolina State are the favorites to win the ACC title. Florida State and Wake Forest are playing a de facto third-place game. The conference is moving away from divisional football leagues. The expansion of the SEC and Big Ten will make college football games more exciting. Vegas has picked the best lines for every game in the conference. It's 118-92-2 for the season. There are bets on the games. They're labeled with three confidence categories.

Michigan is a heavy favorite against Iowa. Ole Miss and Kentucky are going to play a shootout. Oklahoma struggled finishing drives in last week's loss to Kansas State. Texas Tech is favored over Kansas. Alabama is going for 16.5 points against Arkansas. NC State is the favorite at Clemson. Wake Forest is 6. 5 points under the over/under. Florida State's game against Boston College is expected to be close.   The number is about right. The line is headed towards three touchdowns. It's a good bet to buy Alabama. They're going against an Arkansas team that's bigger, stronger, faster and healthier.

Boise State is the favorite at Boise State. Miami (Ohio) is a one-point underdog at Buffalo. North Carolina is favored at Virginia Tech. Central Michigan is an eight-pointer at Toledo. Texas A&M is three points ahead at Mississippi State, while South Alabama is nine points behind Louisiana. East Carolina's favorite is South Florida. The Pirates were shocked in overtime by Navy last week.

LSU is a favorite at 8.5 at Auburn.

Minnesota is favored by 10.5 points over Purdue.

Tulsa is a heavy favorite at +10 against Cincinnati.

San Jose State is at home as a two-point favorite at Wyoming.

Georgia Tech is +24 at Pittsburgh.

Air Force is favored by 15 points at home against Navy.

Connecticut is favored by 23.5 points over Fresno State.

Colorado is favored by 17.5 points at Arizona.

Louisville is favored by 15 points at Boston College.

Northwestern is +26 at Penn State.
