College Football Daily Fantasy Helper: Friday 9/23/22
FanDuel's college football DFS main slate on Friday includes three games. Roster consists of a quarterback slot, two running backs, three wide receivers, one "Super FLEX" spot and one player from any position. The main game locks at 7:00 p.m. EST.
Garrett Shrader, Syracuse's quarterback, is a popular play on Friday night's slate. Brennan Armstrong, Virginia's left-handed quarterback who accounted for 40 total touchdowns last season, has struggled this season. Gavin Hardeson, Texas-El Paso's right-hand quarterback has also struggled, but he's a good bet because his team is underdogs.
Sean Tucker is the workhorse for the Syracuse Orange. George Holani has struggled this season, but his workload is secure. Toa Taua has been one of the few bright spots for Nevada this year. Brad Roberts, John Lee Eldridge III, Ashton Jeanty, Ronald Awatt, and Perris Jones are other running backs to consider.
Tyrin Smith, Texas-El Paso's sophomore, has received a lot of targets this season. Lavel Davis Jr. is a great way to save salary at wide receiver. Billy Bowens, Nevada's second-ranked wideout, is also worth a look. BJ Casteel, the Nevada Wolfpack's leading receiver, offers good value.
Keytaon Thompson, Oronde Gadsden II, Latrell Caples, Stefan Cobbs, Jamaal Bell, and Davis Koetter are among the candidates to consider.
