College Football Odds: Washington State vs USC prediction, odds

Justin Dedich, a key part of the opening day starting offensive line, will be a game-time decision for the game against Washington State. The Trojans' defense played well against Oregon State in Week 4 but regressed against Arizona State last week. Washington is 4-1 and could be 5-0 if it hadn't lost to Oregon in the final minutes of regulation on Sept. 24. USC has some flaws and a limited roster. Cougar quarterback Cameron Ward is a high-variance player.

Washington State is a big favorite against a very good USC team. The Trojans are unbeaten and ranked No. 6 in the country. Washington State might be the toughest team that USC has faced so far this year.

USC's offense had a bad game against Oregon State, but it has scored at least 41 points in its other five games. If Washington State is anything less than excellent on offense, the game can get away from the Cougars and USC can win a blowout.

USC is not in shape to win by more than 14 points. Washington State is a good team.
