College Football Odds: California vs. USC prediction, odds and pick

California Golden Bears take on USC Trojans. Eric Gentry, a linebacker, and receiver Jordan Addison didn't play against Arizona. Andrew Vorhees didn’t play. USC won 45-37. Cal lost to Colorado. Justin Wilcox is expected to fire offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave after the regular season. California is coming off consecutive home-field losses to Washington and Oregon. California has a better defensive line than Arizona, but the offensive line has gotten worse. The Golden bears have a much better offensive game plan. They have to control the ball and keep USC”s offense off the field.

California is a big favorite against a team that is injured. Cal took Notre Dame to the final play in a September game. The game could be close, but the Bears can control the ball on a few drives and limit the big plays the Trojans generate on offense.

USC's offense has been consistent this season. Cal is unlikely to score more than 20 points.

USC is not fully healthy and won't play to the full height of their capabilities. Cal is likely to play a very inspired first half.

California is favored by 21.5 points over USC.
