College football rankings: Predicting the CFP top 25 for Week 14

Georgia is the consensus No. 1 team in America. Michigan is second after a dominant win over Ohio State. TCU is expected to move up after the Buckeyes' loss. Pac-12 teams TCU and USC are playing in the conference championship games. Georgia and Michigan are locks to make the College Football Playoff.

The CFP rankings are based on the current standings.

UTSA qualified for the AP top 25 and is expected to be in the rankings at 10-2.

NC State lost two out of the last three games to end the season. UNC won the ACC title game, but it's still ranked 24th despite that.

Carolina will fall out of the rankings after the loss to Ole Miss. Mississippi State will make the poll.

UCF beat USF to close out the season. They will play in the AAC title game against Tulane.

The Longhorns didn't get the help they needed to qualify for the Big 12 Championship Game.

South Carolina beat two AP top 10 teams in consecutive weeks. The Gamecocks dropped 63 on Tennessee and upset Clemson on the road.

Notre Dame's five-game win streak ended at USC.

UCLA is still in the top spot despite losing to Cal.

Oregon State beat Oregon to finish the season with 9-2 record.

Tulane's win over Cincinnati puts the Green Wave in the AAC Championship Game. UC's 32-game home win streak is over.

Florida State is ranked No. 15 after beating rival Florida and beating LSU.

Utah will play USC in the Pac-12 Championship Game.

Oregon lost a 31-10 lead to its rival in a game last week. The Ducks are now ahead of the Beavers in the rankings.

LSU lost to Texas A&M. The team is out of the top 10 at 12th place.

Clemson lost at home to South Carolina. The loss should knock the team from the College Football Playoff contention.

Kansas State won their final three games by an average of 22 points each time. They will play in the Big 12 title game.

Washington finished 10-2 and is in the mix for a good bowl.

Penn State won the last month by an average of 31.25 points per game. The Nittany Lions are in line for a New Year's bowl bid out of the Big Ten.

Alabama has two losses to ranked teams. The Crimson Tide is still within striking distance of the top four.

USC is ranked No. 4 despite losing to two top-five teams. They have their own wins over ranked rivals in UCLA and Notre Dame. USC will play Utah in the Pac-12 title game.

TCU is still unbeaten heading into the Big 12 title match. The team is playing Kansas State.

A dominant win at Ohio State would turn the rivalry in Michigan's favor. Michigan is in the Big Ten Championship Game and likely in College Football Playoff.
