Oregon enjoyed another 10-win season in 2021 but lost to Utah in conference play and the Pac-12 Championship game, and they lost at Ohio State last year. First-year coach Dan Lanning has a lot of returning talent to work with after Mario Cristobal left for Miami.

Utah won the Pac-12 last year and lost in the Rose Bowl to Ohio State. Kyle Whittingham returns for his 18th season as coach of the Utes. Clemson is playing Georgia Tech in the first game of the season on September 5 at 8 p.m. The Yellowjackets are 9-25 under coach Geoff Collins. Clemson lost to Georgia last year. Dabo Swinney's team is looking to improve on last season's 10-3 record.
